DART Trace can track the motion and aim of a laser training pistol and can provide useful information on shooter mechanics.

Trace requires a specially developed laser training weapon designed so that the laser remains constantly ON once the gun is activated and turns OFF for a brief moment when the trigger is pulled. The continuous laser allows DART Trace to track the motion of the firearm, while the short off period tells DART when a shot is made. A Trace training weapon is available from DART/Digimation.
