DART Trace is a companion product to the DART firearms training simulator and provides useful information on shooter mechanics.
DART Trace includes a specially developed laser training weapon designed so that the laser remains constantly ON once the gun is activated and turns OFF for a brief moment when the trigger is pulled. The continuous laser allows DART Trace to track the motion of the firearm, while the short off period tells DART when a shot is made.
Much of DART Trace is similar (and in some cases identical) to DART Range, so if you are already familiar with DART Range, calibration, loading courses, and general program usage in Trace will seem very familiar. Although DART Trace is powerful, it has been designed to be easy to learn and use. This guide will explain the layout, options, and usage of Trace.
