Before using DART Range it must be calibrated. This is a quick process that aligns DART’s built-in camera with the projector so that shots can be accurately tracked. 

In addition, the calibration process will use the size of the projected image and average distance of the shooter from the screen to make sure that targets and scene objects are always shown at the correct size.

Calibration should be done anytime you start the system, or if the DART computer or projector are accidentally bumped or moved. Once you are comfortable with the process, you should be able to calibrate the system in about a minute.
