The Info Bar located across the top of the screen displays the name of the course and stage count on the left side, and the name of the selected asset (stage, target, or prop), and asset number on the right. In the center of the Info Bar are options for for selecting between Stages, Targets, TruTargets, and Props, and options for moving between, adding, and deleting assets.
When Stages is selected, the options will add, delete, and move between stages. When Targets is selected, the same options will add, delete, and move between targets - and so on.
Note: Because every course must contain at least one stage, the delete stage icon is ghosted whenever a course contains a single stage.
The left side of the Info Bar displays the name of the currently loaded course and the current number of stages in the course. It also displays the currently selected stage. For example, if the display reads Stage 1 of 2, you know that there are currently two stages in the course and that you are viewing the first stage. This is important because any changes you make to a stage such as the number of shots or time allowed will only affect the currently selected stage.
The right side of the Info Bar displays the name of the currently selected asset type and the number of that asset type in the stage. For example, if Targets is selected, and the display reads IPSC / Target 1 of 3, you know that there are currently three targets in the current stage and that you are viewing the first target named "IPSC". This is important because any changes you make to a target path, speed, etc. will only affect the currently selected target.
The options in the middle of the Info Bar will Add, Delete, and move between the currently selected asset type. Some options will be inactive from time to time and cannot be selected. For example, if there are two stages in a course and you have selected the second stage, the Next button will be inactive because you are already on the last stage.
Try It! Select Stages and click the Add button twice to add two new stages to your course. You should notice the stage counter change to Stage 3 of 3 (adding a stage will always move you to the new stage). Now click the Previous button twice. Notice that the first stage is now selected.
Note: If you are working on a course with a single stage, you will notice that the Previous and Next options are inactive. This is because you cannot move to a different stage when there is only one stage in a course.
Add and Delete
Clicking the Add button will add a new stage, target, TruTarget, or prop and automatically move you to, or select the new asset. Each course is limited to a maximum of 30 stages, and each stage has a limit of 10 targets, 10 TruTargets, and 20 props. Clicking the Delete button will remove the currently selected asset.
Note: Each course must have at least one stage and every stage must contain at least one target (either 2D target or TruTarget). If you are down to one target or stage, the Delete button will be inactive.
Important! Deleting a asset cannot be undone; however, the changes to your course are not saved until you use the Save Course command under the Courses menu.
